Lauren Williamson Welcomes You

Who I Am

I am Lauren Williamson, a graduated student from Spelman College in which I received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology.  I am originally from Chicago, IL but after living in Atlanta for four years, I call this my second home.  I have a great passion for makeup and fashion that began my freshman year in college.  I began to do my friends makeup for campus events and more.  Eventually, I became employed into the event planning community where I was able to practice my love for art (makeup) and be with children.  I also have a passion for mental health, especially in children.  Throughout my years in college, I was able to experience psychological services specifically with kids which made me so much more interested in child psychology than ever. 
Throughout my matriculation, at Spelman College, I was blessed to experience so much fieldwork while still maintaining my two passions of makeup and working with kids.  So much so that I was offered the manager position at my job and even was accepted into the Psi Chi Psychology Honors society because of my impressive grades and knowledge from my wonderful instructors. 
This portfolio demonstrates my goals and aspirations for my future while including my passions. Incorporating everything I love into one, is my top priority.
