Purpose

The research topic chosen was based on motivation.  Strong Black Womanhood and Perfection was chosen to understand whether there is a link between an African American female identifying as a Strong Black Womanhood and whether those characteristics link to perfectionism which can lead to negative health effects espeically for those in college.

Research

A survey was sent out to the student body of Spelman, through email, where students could take a 30-minute survey that demonstrated questions pertaining to self-reflection of strong black womanhood and self-reflection of perfection.

Outcome

The results concluded that there was not a significant correlation between Strong Black Womanhood and Perfection in college students.
